Honoured guests, partners and friends, welcome.

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the opening of the China-Bangladesh Technical Education Development Project. As Director of the Project Implementation Committee, I am responsible for turning plans into practical results on the ground.

The young people of Bangladesh are the country’s greatest strength. Our task is to give them skills that employers value, through better training, modern equipment and closer links with industry in Bangladesh, China and the wider region.

I thank our partners and friends for their trust and support. We will be open about our progress, careful with every responsibility, and committed to delivering what we promise.

Thank you very much.

Distinguished guests, partners and friends,

It is an honour to welcome you to the opening of the China-Bangladesh Technical Education Development Project. Bangladesh has a young population and a growing economy, and both need skills: trained technicians, instructors and entrepreneurs who can meet the needs of modern industry.

This Project brings together Bangladeshi institutions, Chinese technology and training experience, and the business community, so that learning leads to work. Over the coming years we will work on technical and vocational training, the exchange of trainers and students, joint training centres and digital learning.

We are grateful to our partners, including the Government of Bangladesh, the Embassy of China, the Bangladesh-China Chamber of Commerce & Industry, FBCCI, the Iran Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the D-8 chambers, whose networks will widen the reach of this work.

Our commitment is simple: to work openly, to follow the law, and to deliver results that learners and employers can see. I invite every partner here today to join us.

Thank you.

Director, Project Implementation Committee, and Principal, Yidai Yilu Chinese Language Training Center

Distinguished guests and friends,

As a Director of the Project Implementation Committee and Principal of the Yidai Yilu Chinese Language Training Center, I believe that language opens doors. When a learner can speak Chinese, a technical course, a workplace and a business partnership all become easier to reach.

Alongside technical skills, the Project will support Chinese language learning, so that students, trainers and workers can study, train and work with Chinese partners with confidence.

We will work with institutions across Bangladesh to build practical language programmes that are linked to technical training and to jobs.

I thank everyone who has supported this effort, and I look forward to welcoming many learners. Thank you.
